Reviews

"Jody Cassell's Where's Leon? dances with language-rich experiences. Kyra Pincheira's imaginative illustrations breathe life into Leon's antics, his sister's quest and their ultimate reward. These are the kinds of rich learning experience we want for our young learners."

Miriam F. Willis, Former Senior Director, Education, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts

"Where's Leon? now occupies a special spot on my bookshelf, next to From Head to Toe by Eric Carle, Quick as a Cricket by Don and Audrey Wood, and In the Attic by Hiawyn Oram and Satosui Kitamura, each book inspiring young readers (and listeners) into action."

Kathy Mohn, M.A. Journal of Dance Education Volume 8, Number 3 2008

Amazon Review:

my kids favorite...My two girls absolutely LOVE this book. I loved it so much, I contacted the author and asked her to read it to my daughter's Kindergarten class. All 21 kids enjoyed the beautiful images, the juicy language and adored the characters. My girls can't hear the word "cookie" without quoting the book: "Ooey, gooey, moist and chewy chocolate chip cookies".This book is a great book for inspiring little ones to move! We can't wait for Mrs. Cassell's next masterpiece! J. Nicholas-Walker
